Every daily number is a real, sourced figure from our research library — government statistics, large surveys, and peer-reviewed studies. Nothing is invented for the game, and each reveal links to the full page with the source and the honest caveats.
Is anything stored or tracked?
Your guess and streak are kept only in your own browser (localStorage) so the page can remember you played today. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and there is no account.
Why one guess per day?
The point is the calibration moment — comparing what you assumed with what the data shows. One honest guess tells you more than ten adjusted ones. A new number arrives at midnight, local time.
Are the answers exact?
They are as exact as the underlying research allows. Where a figure is approximate or contested, the reveal says so — the same hedging rules the whole site follows.
